While driving home this evening, there was a radio announcement from the City of Ottawa, again about the need to be efficient when watering lawns.
This announcement told listeners that their lawns need "no more than 2.5 centimetres or 1 inch of water per week". So, while I was disappointed that they did mention inches, I was pleased that they first mentioned the amount in centimetres. Stephen
