This is very correct.  In fact if Americans really understood FFU as they
claim to, then there wouldn't be a problem.  People could easily compare the
price per ounce with the price per pound.  The fact that they can't or have
trouble doing so is evidence that all this love for FFU is based not on
reality but on what people wish it to be.
