A trick I've learned: 1. Hit reply or forward. This opens a new window which lets you edit the existing text. 2. Put your cursor at the end of the first line of the URL and hit delete once. This usually combines the URL without deleting a character (it deletes the invisible hard break). 3. Now click on the URL and it should work. I tested this one and it did.
