Hello is 3.8 l a good enough conversion
factor for a US gallon for every day use. The difference between 3.78 l and 3.8
l is only 20 ml. The everyday conversion factor for the imperial gal. is 1
Gal = 4.5 l. I believe the proper conversion factor is 1 imp. gal =
4.54 l. This is a difference of 40 ml whitch is quite a lot more.
