I have an unopened gallon of milk in the fridge, and there is not
enough room to add an extra 20 ml.

question if the US dairy industry changed the 1 gallon milk containers
to 3.8 l is there enough room in the container to add the extra 20 ml
of milk? When the Canadian dairy industry changed from gallons to
liters they had to completely change the size of both the gallon jug
and the quart container.
