I was said here that metric tapes with no inches can not 
be bought.  The hardware store here in Boulder has one 
in stock.  It is Starrett catalog number AG34-5M6 price 
$14.99.  It is 19 mm x 5 m 
There are many styles and sizes in the Starrett catalog. 
The one above is on page 393.
The metric only tapes are listed as "Metric Reading".
