Hello could someone tell me who lives in the UK could northern Ireland Scotland and Wales change their speed and distance signs to metric or would they have to wait until England do? If the US ever change to metric road signs even though it's a long time ago they could talk to people in Canada who were driving at the time of the change and find out that it went very smoothly.  Is there anyone i could e mail at the US federal level and tel them how smoothly the change went in Canada.  There are thousands of Americans that come up to Canada every year.  Like i have said before i think the change in the states would go smoothly if it were all done at once.
