You might want to send another email and ask about the
instrument panels on the cars themselves. With all of this flip-flopping
of dates, who knows if the 2005-01-01 date for the sale of new cars with metric
instrument panels isn't delayed also.

web site (http://www.nra.ie) but saw no
mention of this, so I sent an e-mail just now to the head office in Dublin.
