OK, did they give you this type of info?

Germany Info Home: Welcome: Berlin - Capital City: The Berlin Wall

     The Berlin Wall

Total length: (East Berlin 43.1 km, DDR 111.9) 155 km
Concrete slab wall, approximately 4 meters high: 106 km
Wire mesh fencing, 3-4 meters high: 67 km
     Sentry towers: 302
     Bunkers: 20
Anti-tank emplacements, up to 5 meters deep: 0.9 km
     Anti-vehicle trenches: 105 km
Contact fence and signal fence: 127 km
Column track, 6-7 meters wide: 124 km

Overall, more than 5,000 persons, so-called "Wall Breakers", succeeded in crossing the Wall. Over 3,200 were arrested while attempting to escape and, as a rule, they were sentenced to several years in prison.

More than 100 people were killed attempting to cross the Wall, over 200 were wounded by gun shots. Because extreme secrecy was maintained in the German Democratic Republic regarding such matters, research on the exact figures is not yet complete.

What would I do with Euric searching the news for me? hahaha....
