Snooker, pool and billiards

What's the official size for a snooker table, a
pool table and a billiard table?
I have an idea (like, for
example, a snooker table is twice the size of the others, but I want
to make
sure.)

No idea, but I'm sure its in
imperial
metrication does not mean everything that happens to
be a standard imperial size needs to be re-standardised in metric.
Even completely metric countries use imperial in certain cases where
that is the world standard, eg. wheel sizes are in inches, pilots
use feet for altitude. It is even alleged by some that australian
surfers measure their boards in feet!
I think most pro-metric
people have no objection whatsoever to the use of imperial in such
cases. | |
