I joined this list a week or so ago, after reading about the USMA in an editorial in
Machine Design, then visiting the USMA's web site.
The web site was nicely done, but this mailing list must be a joke. Some loony named
"euric" posts total crap about the US economy failing, and apparently believes it.
Another idiot named "marcus" (apparently a Canadian) seems to believe that Americans
give a damn about what Canadians think of President Bush. Would someone enlighten me
how either of these two brain farts have helped metrication in any way?
I have yet to see a post from anyone actually related to metrication of the US. If
the dialog in the last week is reflective of what is typical on this forum, then I
would encourage the USMA to shut it down-it sure as hell isn't promiting
metrication, and it is giving a forum to to anti-American idiots.
