I have changed my USMA subscription from my avocation
email address (rodstoryboy) to this email address.
Same Rod (Rodney) Jones, however!

Bruce is correct -- my error. The way I would write it
is 1 EJ = 0.95 Quad, or 1 EJ = 1 Quad is accurate
enough for most discussion purposes.

BTW, related to the paper discussion that has been
going on: I just bought an HP 2550 color laser. The
user's manual, which comes on a disk (no paper),
discusses allowable paper sizes, envelope sizes, and
paper weights, all with metric FIRST.

They do show American units in parenthesis, and round
units where appropriate (meaning they convert from
216x279 mm to 8-1/2x11").

I suspect this facilitates translating into other
languages, but it is a good step regardless of the
reason.
