I was on a U K web site and they were using the agreeveation LTR for liter. They were using this abreeveation for the tank volume on the pressure washer and the fuel tank volume on the engine. Isn't the only abreeveation for liter in SI l? John
The proper symbol for liter in SI is either L or l (lowercase).
However, as I've pointed out before, just because something comes from a metric country does not mean it will comply with SI usage rules. We get shipments from Asia all the time with KGS for kilograms and CMS for centimeters.
