PDF files can carry malicious code I believe.

Now as to the poster who sent a Word doc attached, my email program, Mozilla Thunderbird, is very good in that it displayed the full text of the Word Doc at the end of the email without any need to open or save the attachment nor to use MS Word or any other external program.

If you are not using Mozilla Thunderbird for email then you are missing out on the best email program ever.

The Celsius Poem

30 - You're hot
20 - You're not
10 - You sneeze
0 - You freeze

(Not sure if the poem was Nat's or a prior post.)

In any case, two comments:

(1) Great poem -- as is the one Pat posted.

(2) Complaint & suggestion -- not everyone uses Microsoft Word. How
about converting "DOC" files to a PDF, which is much more portable?
You can get a free PDF converter (printer driver) at
http:/pdf995.com.
Also, as far as I know, PDF files cannot carry maliscious code, but
Word files can.
