That's a very good point regarding those stick-on or hang-type circular
analogue thermomenters - here in the UK they tend to show both.   I've
never seen one with just F or just C.

Weather reports in Canada are 99.99% in Celsius.
On some stations you will occasionally see or hear
both degrees C & F.  

Regarding household devices, it depends.  Analog
thermostats will often have both sets of units printed
on them.  You can buy analog thermostats that display
only degrees C.  Digital thermostats can normally be
set to display either C or F, but they are normally
defaulted to F, since they are also manufactured
for the US market.  If you want to display Celsius,
you have to turn a screw or move a jumper or make
some other menu change.  

After the change to metric, the gauges on some ovens
came out showing Celsius and they had a permanently
printed conversion table so that the user could easily determine what
the proper temperature would be.

That being said, few ovens actually display Celsius
today.  It's primarily in Fahrenheit.
