Thanks for the link. I found it quite distressing that there are people
around with a pressing need to produce this sort of garbled rubbish.

Interestingly, they provide no points of contact so that we might reply
to their more ridiculous assertions.

It seems that they not only want to force us all to use the old thous,
mils, sixteenths, quarters, inches, feet, yards, rods, poles, perches,
and all the different kinds of miles, but they want to enforce their
will on the rest of us anonymously!

However, having said that, the name Joan Pontius seems to ring a vague
bell with me. Have we heard from her before?
