A trip to Britain would be wasted without a trip to a pub! :-)

Bear in mind there tends to be two sort of pubs - the big "chainy" types
that are quite colourful, fairly loud and a lot of fun. Then there's
the old style "inn" type pubs which are more "cosy" and you're more
likely to hear the clinking of glasses than the music on the system.

The "old style" one's sometimes have a proper beer garden too.

If you want an absolutely major night out, go to Cardiff.

I plan to do exactly that (go to a British pub) as part of a vacation in
June.

Don't waste your money!

Go to a British pub and see, in reality, what actually happens.

I've been doing it on Friday and Saturday for many many years now!

Would you care to place a monetary value on your use of the word,
'only'.

My estimate is that it comes to about 13.6 % of the entire UK beer
market - that's quite some 'only'.
