Of course, if they list the price per kg, then the
price per 100 g is quite obvious.  That's one of the
benefits of metric.

On a somewhat similar note, I was shopping for a new
television at Best Buy (an American electronics chain)
with stores here in Canada.  Televisions in Canada are
advertised and sold using their diagonal screen length

measured in inches.  I was happily surprised to see
that the small card displayed in front of each TV in
the
showroom listed the physical dimensions only in 
centimetres.
