Hello Pat. in your post you said that when a company  or person or country where metric has been adopted never goes back to pre metric measurements. Most of the States that had gone to metric in their departments of transportations have gone back to imperial. like i have said before this is a big step backwards in going metric in the states. I wonder how California is doing in their return to imperial measurements in their department of transportation?
