I found two grocery stores both next to each (that's Cheektowagan, or some
such dialect) that look ripe for metrication. One is Hispanic, the other East
Asian. How should I talk to them about posting prices per kilogram and
installing a kilogram scale? Is it likely that the scales they use for
labeling random stuff and the checkout scales have kilogram switches? What
should I do if the manager speaks only Chinese? (Spanish I can smatter and
probably be understood.)
