Yesterday I bought a supplement distributed by New Chapter and was surprised to see metric only for the quantity. I also noticed other products in the health section of the store that were all packaged in rational metric sizes (even though the metric was listed in second place in parentheses).

It seems that more and more companies are metric-ready when it comes to rational metric sizes in packaging. When will an amendment be introduced to the FPLA to permit metric only indications of quantity?

I have a hunch there will be quite a wave of metric-only packages once the amendment is approved.
