In retrospect I should have said Ultra-HiFi enthusiast using sinewave
externally non-switch powered single bearing and isolated Vinyl source
through unipivot and MC (and step-up) phonostage though control and power
stage amp into front ported loudspeakers in a reflection deadening (ie
studio ambience) room.
I'll leave it there!
