A week or two ago, I measured a Visions pot which is supposed to be 1.5 l. I filled it to the brim with 1.7 liters of water using my measuring cup. (I suspect it's 1.5 l to the bottom of the lid, which was broken.) Then to check the cup, I weighed it empty - 86 g - and put a liter of water in it - 1084 g. Or something close to that. As that was room temperature tap water, not 4 �C pure water, it's good enough for me.
