With regard to catalogues. I'm afraid it's hard to tell how accurate figures are. They don't usually specify accuracy with measurment data. They are usually for guidance purposes only so don't rely on them if you need very precise information. It's always nice to hear from you.

I have a question. Would a good rule of thumb for converting yd's to m be yd's minus 10 percent = m? I no this isn't very accurate and couldn't be used for building but maybe be alright for conversion in every day use. Does anybody know in catalogs when the dimentions of furniture or appliances or anything else are the dimentions exact or approx? Thanks for your time and help. I really enjoy this site a lot.
