Yes, I was pretty tired last night and missed that.
 
I still give the UK regular press some slack because of the presence of "miles" on road signs. Some day, mayhap ....

I don't see "100% metric" in the article at the given web site. Sizes of the monuments/temples are described in metres and hectares but larger distances are described in miles.
