Nor do  I.

So by your logic, people who don't like socialist policies should
be free to choose which laws they obey (e.g. pay taxes at the rate
they *think* they should).  This would be an unpractical mess - even
worse than your state of weights and measures.


To be honest I can't remember how this fit in with the relevence of the rest of the post. However, if a socialist govt is elected it does not mean I have to become a socialist.

However, Being a Friday afternoon I'll soon need to wathe tru this mess of state of measurements to at least try and have an enjoyable evening. It's gonna be tough though ;-)
