I would also like to add my sympathies and support to the UK members
(on both sides of the metric debate) on this list. It is good
to hear that the British embassy here has been "inundated" by calls
of sympathy.
I and my family will be going on holiday in England tomorrow, and we are
certainly not going to be deterred from doing so by people who wish to
replace democracy and tolerance by a rigid theocratic dictatorship.
