There is no way the pint can be an honest measure.
As long as it is allowed to take on different meanings it can never be relied
upon as an accurate unit. It can and always will be a slang term for a
glass. The increased use of the metric system world-wide has helped
confuse and befuddle the meaning of not only the pint of every single unit
outside of SI.
