Since I'm new, I don't know if this hasn't been discussed before, but here goes:
Couple of years ago Minute Maid came out with the Simply Orange line of premium orange juices. Tropicana followed suit a little while later. Both companies' products made their debut in elegant and unashamedly metric (1.75L) carafes. Just recently I noticed that Tropicana repackaged their Twister line of juices using 1.75L bottles. I think that both companies should be congratulated. Especially Tropicana, since they've gone metric an existing product (the Twister), and they are taking a genuine risk by placing a 1.75L bottle in the 1/2 gallon territory. We can only hope that the Ocean Sprays and Libbys of the world will follow the example. Below are the links to the customer contact sections of Simply Orange and Tropicana's websites.
