Just a reminder that the proposed metric-only option
would not impose standard package sizes. This was, apparently, the
FMI's major concern at the time of the 2004 report on the NIST forum
results (see page 9, http://ts.nist.gov/ts/htdocs/200/202/forum/2003%20ForumReport.pdf).
The report went on to emphasize the voluntary nature of U.S.
metrication.
