Hmmm
Thanks, Jim, for the advice.
And I know you're correct, and recognise that, after checking, the low number of responses he gets indicates a slight "ignore" feature to his efforts.

Similarly on the BWMA forums - he posts the "fact" that because the UK is seeing slowed growth for the moment that means he can re-define growth to "Massive Recession" (I kid you not, it's there for all to see). Naturally, this and all other posts about the Euro, how the UK works and the collapse of the US tends to be ignored there too. It used to be Iraq oil under saddam but now it's Iranian oil that's the highlight of the measurement debate - WHO CARES?

Once again you've helped all those people who are considering a switch to metric from imperial, or are simply "in the middle" to make a positive choice.

If you insult people enough who don't share your opinion - sooner or later they will submit to you and share your opinion.

I wonder how succesful you have been, Daniel, in promoting the metric system in your own unique way?

You're wasting keystrokes, Stephen. Daniel is one of the "anointed" who knows what is best for everyone else, and likes to lord it over everyone. And, of course, he has managed to convert hordes of the vulgar people to the metric system with his superior wisdom and insight.

Well, at least in his own little mind.

Jim

P.S. Odd how he refuses to tell anyone of anything he has ever actually done to promote metrication. I wonder why that is?
