Title: Re: [USMA:35265] Odd mixture of units on Aussie program for US market
Sorry about my mistaking your name, Pat. I watched the show after going to a restaurant that added some flavorings that made me pretty ill. To try and recuperate I lay down on the sofa and turned on the TV, which just happened to be showing the program in question. Despite my physical state I was sufficiently disturbed by the non-metric units in the program to trundle over to the computer to send off my e-mail inquiry. In my brain-addled state I got your last name wrong.

My apologies.

Thank you for your excellent and informative responses. I look forward to the day when the USA will finally make the successful kind of transition that the Australians have done so well to the modern metric system.

Beest regards,

Ezra

Dear Ezra,

My name is Pat Naughtin. I have not seen the program you refer to.
