You might be surprised to know that most people still think in terms of inches in England - mainly because only certain aspects of England has been metricated.

Fahrenheit tends to get used in England during the summer months.

This also applies to the rest of the United Kingdom which comprises of the countries: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. England is the second largest piece taking up the lower right (most south-easterly) portion of the country.
