Director of USMA, was appointed by Pres. Ford to the US Metric Board
(and survived and passed the FBI clearance for the position). But
Congress dragged its collective feet until Ford's term of office was
over and when Pres. Carter took office, he named different nominees.
There, Ms. Antoine never got to serve.
