Going back to metric, I explored the paper's web site. I couldn't
resist checking the weather site to see what an Australian weather
report looks like. As expected temperatures were in Celsius, but
noticed winds were in knots and pressure were in hPa, not kPa. I was
surprised to see knots instead of km/h in the weather section.
Is this common practice there?

Dear Brij,
I know that this has nothing to do with the metric system but I think
that you might be interested in this item in the Melbourne, Australia,
paper called 'The Age'.
