Still, that's the beauty of maintaining two (or more) systems. You need extra symbols (in this case 4 instead of 2 per sign) and the inevitable mistakes.

How much easier life would be for these poor folk if all they had to deal with was a single rational system of measurement that everyone understands whether they were catering for local or visiting clients.

You might want to select just the proper picture and say that Stan Jakuba was pleased to comment to the resort management on the proper usage of metric and their willingness to accommodate the many foreign guests they must undoubtedly be serving.
