Sure. See my post of Nicholas Kristof's NY Times column a couple months ago,
"The Hubris of the Humanities" (USMA 35336 / 2005 Dec 6) which said exactly
that.

But lets face it, for all the rationalization the reason these soft skills
are emphasied is that they're just plain **easier**.  The hard skills are
deemed "too hard", the rest is excuses. 

That gets back to Scott's video!
