Just been reading the specs and directions on some
tile grout I bought at Lowe's. Laticrete of Bethany Connecticut, www.laticrete.com has a product where all
data is metric, sold in 1 kg milk cartons, the grout powder has directions
giving tile sizes from 25 x 25 x 6 mm in rounded millimeter sizes (would you
believe most tiles are round metric sizes) 50, 150, 200, 300 and 400 x 400 mm
sizes with coverage area in m2 (With accompanying fractional inch sizes,
coverage in ft2). I'm impressed to see a company here in the US actually get it
right with nominal conversions. The directions here are a marvelous example of
what should be on every product sold in the US.
