Dr Who is consistantly imperial - not sure why - although it's more likely
to be in regards to portraying the Doctor as "architypically British" rather
than anti-metric.
You probably saw the Chris Ecclestone incarnation (aired last year here) -
he's "transformed" again now and the new searies is running on BBC One each
Saturday with a recent one involving the cyber-men.
You might have guessed that I'm a fan ;-)

Was surprised to see a relatively new Science Fiction show on BBC America
that refereed to feet instead of meters. It was Dr. Who and made only a few
years ago. Most recently US made Science Fiction (especially Star Trek)
uses all SI.
