I saw Tom Brokaw's documentary on global warming, which had a lot of useful information in it.

I expected it would be all US customary, and it was. One US scientist used the phrase "30 meters", but then converted it to feet.

The one anomaly I noticed was the bit about the Canadian team studying the decline in polar bears near Hudson Bay. They had tranquilized a mother bear and her cubs and were taking measurement. Despite the narrator's voice over, I was able to hear one of the Canadian scientists call out the weight of one of the cubs as "80 pounds". Seems quite surprising that a Canadian scientist (let alone any scientists) would be taking primary measurements in Imperial.

Weird....
