I left its further calculations, for 2 reasons: (a) What good does it serve to work for a martian calendar, while Earth is NOT ready for its own calendar? AND (b) What benefits, if ever some smart politician thought of applying Martian Clock-Calendar on Earth, and at what cost - if so? United Nations on Earth, would rather live without a perfect calendar - especially United States, who prefer to remain tied to their version of 'spellings' for some base units rather than accepting Le Systeme Internationale d'Unites (SI) version of international usage. I think there is aneed to examine: 'What do we really want and if we are ready to exhume tax-payers money'? OR why not a clock-calendar with minimal changes ' like the one I have attempted to demonstrate?. See: <http://www.brijvij.com/> and <http://homepage.ntlworld.com/genesis.revealed/index.htm>

Subject: calendar measure of months and seasons
Date: Thu, 31 Aug 2006 19:15:49 +0100

Brij,
I was thinking today about a metric/cycle calendar measure timing for human activity and productive growth using the (.5), this would be 40.5min per hour, rather than standard 60min, it would fit in with the earth/female reproductive cycle of 9 mths and would use the unproductive winter months, by simply using and calculating only the 3 equinoxes points (spring, summer, autumn) for increase "expansion" purposes measured by the day and sun, with winter being a layed back time measured by the night and moon.

40.5*24hours=972*7days=6804*52weeks=353808min/yr

353808/364days=972/12months=81/9=9 solar months (linked with 27 lunar)=36cycle/hr

3 earth "equinox" (spring/summer/autumn) sector cycles of 9 also = 81cycle

It also fits in with lunar cycle 3*27=81cycles

also fits in with solar seven day 81/11=7.36.36.36.4 on a 7day,36hr, 4 earth sector basis

jan(.5),feb(,5),march(1),april(.5),may(.5),jun(1),july(.5),aug(.5),sep(1),oct(.5),nov(.5),dec(.5) =7.5*4=30 days as in a month, doubling this with the value 2 as in "division/expansion" would produce 60min/hr (45degree turn angle, 15 to 5 ratio (division of 3), and 90 degree overall day/angle.

the equinoxes therefore would be 1st-march,1st-june,1st-sept as complete "day/months", the rest are half day/part months, therefore because seasons change around the world one need only select the right equinox moment depending on where you were in the world to get accurate timing. In the west it would be march 1st, in the south it would be june1st and in the east it would be sept1st.

This could have been used by the druids as they travelled round the world to calculate and balance the seasons out using structures like Stonehenge, so as to know when the best time was for reproduction and growth regardless of where they were in the world. The Stonehenge structure has groups of "upright" solar stones and "layed" flat lunar stones. 30 outer upright solar and 27 flat lunar, and 6 upright solar and 3 flat lunar on the inside. It is my believe that what you see as the structure of Stonehenge is the Answer (result), the calculations having to be done in the mind to understand the structure and timing whereby only those having the knowledge can appreciate it and use it and therefore see Stonehenge as it really is.... a calendar of "seasons" using the equinox to determine the lengths of the months.
