The Fourth Meeting of the National Math Panel
November 5th and 6th, 2006
Stanford University

Registration (first-come, first-served basis)
We are now taking registration for:
1- guests who would like to attend the meeting during the open session times and
2- individuals/organizations who would like to make public comments on the
Executive Order and/or the Panel's work.

You are welcome to attend just one or both of the following days.

On Sunday, November 5th there is a one-hour open session when the public may
observe the presentations of invited guest speakers.

4:00 - 5:00 PM  American Student Readiness for College-Level Mathematics


On Monday, November 6th, there are four hours when the public may observe the
presentations of invited guest speakers.  In addition, there will be an hour of
public comment as well as an open session when the Task Groups will give
progress reports on their work.

9:30-10:30 AM   National Assessment of Educational Progress
10:45-11:45 AM  Public Comment
12:45-2:45 PM   Instructional Technology and Calculators
4:30-5:15 PM    Task Group Reports


If you wish to provide public comment on the Executive Order and/or the Panel's
work on November 6th please note that there are limited time slots available,
and individual commentators or those representing an organization will be
allotted 3-5 minutes to speak.
