Decimeters are useful in estimating volume.

Judge the dimensions of something in decimeters, multiply out, and voila-
you've got liters.

Subject: [USMA:37821] Are there Decimeters ? If sow then Where?

Hi there people;

I might be mistaken with my views of proper metric usage yet I fell the need
to share the embarrassment of asking if there is a place held in the proper
Si metric system that includes Decimeter.

I have asked this question of .0 and often I have received mixed answer that
would include .00 (Centimeter)as a focal point of the question. The answer
would still lack definition.

Again I find the need to ask if there is a place held in the SI metric
system called Decimeter that represents .0 ?

Looking forward to any input that might help define the wonderment I often
encounter.

Thanks
