I wonder what units are used for cooking in Canada?

In Canada, cooking is still overwhelmingly non-metric,
Cookbooks that are all-metric are unusual. Some Canadian
publishers will print cookbooks that list the ingredients
in both metric and non-metric values. Sometimes these
use soft conversions and other times hard conversions.

Usually though, recipes and cooking instructions still list
ingredients in non-metric amounts, with some or all in
metric as a secondary value. Oven temperatures are also listed
in Fahrenheit first, followed by Celsius At one point, ovens
were being sold with metric values on the dials, and often
with a conversion table actually appearing on the control
panel. Most ovens sold in Canada now, only contain
Fahrenheit controls.
