We could put violators them a jail built only to metric dimensions! First
time violators could go to remedial measurement school. Maybe a boot camp
for the harden FFU users but they would have to store their stuff in meter
lockers as foot lockers would be banned!

What would this new crime be called, and what would the punishment be?
Would there be lenience for a first time offence, say, quoting one's weight
in non-metric?
