Does anyone know how to set Yahoo Mail to display ISO8601 time/date format?

Carlton,

That PO's me too, and I'm forced to live with AM/PM on my VZW cellphone.
Fortunately I still use a wrist watch, not my cellphone, as my primary
timepiece. And of course that's 24h format.

The problem is that VZW and Sprint use the CDMA digital standard, which is only
used in North America, so there's little incentive for them to provide 24 h
format. Cingular and T-Mobile use the GSM standard, which is a world standard
which pretty much requires they include 24 h format.

I had Cingular until August 2005, but left because of their TDMA/GSM conversion
problems. I had a phone that got both networks, until they informed me they
were turning off the TDMA backup. I subsequently informed them I was turning
off Cingular.

When my contract is up this fall I may shop for a better VZW phone, or give
Cingular another try since GSM conversion is now about complete.

Phone thread.

One wonders just how hard it would have been to include this feature,
especially since itÂ’s there for other phones they make.

Thank you for contacting Motorola.

Unfortunately there is no way to display 24hr time on the Verizon Krzr.

I apologize for any inconvenience. Please let us know if you need further
assistance.

I do not use the am/pm time format. My old phone, a Motorola V265, had an
option to display 24-hour time. I cannot find that option in my new phone. How
do I set it to display 24-hour time? I will probably return the phone if I
can't do this.

Sincerely,

Brock O.
