Last year I went to Philcon, and when I booked my ticket, I said I wanted to be in Philly by 18:00 on some date. The clerk didn't understand. I think that airplane itineraries should have all times listed twice: once in local time, so that you can see what time of day you're getting there, and once in UTC, so that you can subtract times to tell how long it'll take. This will also clear up oddities like the USA, but not Portugal, switching time while I was in Portugal. Has anyone thought what it would take to get all countries to switch to metric flight levels? phma
