Tuning your mind, definitely. After 25 years of watches, PC's, and a 1990 Radio Shack alarm clock that have never been set anything but 24 h format, you get quite used to it. "13" feels like coming back from lunch, "17" feels like everyone starting to go home, "19" feels like ME going home, "20" feels like cooking dinner while watching Olbermann/Scarborough*, and "22" my eyelids start getting heavy.
