I agree. And amending the FPLA to permit metric-only labeling will accelerate 
that tipping point enormously.

I'd hate to think that the single biggest stumbling block to that amendment 
being introduced is the opposition from the FMI. Anyone have any more info on 
what's going on there or how they might be turned around?

Like you I have no doubt that progress is being made in the USA as part of a metrication process that is completely inevitable.
