Funny that.
I saw the article late last night, and I remember thinking to myself,
"Milligrams per 12 ounces? What kind of awful measurement is that?!"
Slashdot is particularly bad about using the metric system. There was
an article recently about a scramjet test in Australia, and the linked
article was an Australian paper. The altitude was listed as 530 km, but
the story ran on slashdot with the altitude listed in miles.
Following that, there was a story about the iPhone that listed the
thickness in mm, but the screen size in inches. All sorts of
"half-assery", as I like to call it.
